The purpose
and mission of Winslow Therapeutic Riding Unlimited, Inc. is: To provide
a full range of medically and educationally approved riding therapy
programs in a natural farm environment, and encourage riders with
disabilities to reach their highest level of proficiency. And to provide
training and continuing education for professionals in the field of
therapeutic riding.
Winslow Therapeutic Center is a non-profit organization accredited
by the North
American Riding for the Handicapped Association. Therapeutic
horseback riding produces smiles, laughter, friendship, and
healing. We see children and adults every day who improve their
physical, cognitive, social, and emotional well being by learning
to ride in our therapeutic environment. Our well trained and
caring staff and volunteers have made it possible for us to
offer a unique and often life-changing horseback riding experience
to children and adults in our community since 1974.
