This year marked the 30th year of Winslow’s Annual Duck Derby. Due to COVID-19, the Duck Derby was postponed from of its original date of May 17th to September 12th. Because of social distancing regulations, the event went virtual! Raffle ticket sales continued through the summer, and on September 12th, SEVEN lucky winners won one of our unique giveaways graciously sponsored by local businesses and individuals. Though the event was less successful than years past, Winslow was able to raise $6,500 to assist us in continuing to offer our programs and services to our participants and volunteers. Because of the worldwide pandemic, Winslow had no choice but to cancel our other two major fundraisers for the year, and the success of our Duck Derby was integral for our organization. We are so grateful for everyone’s participation in this event.

Thank you to the following sponsors for their contribution to our Duck Derby: Warwick Valley Rotary Club, Vogel & Moore Insurance, Priscilla & Lindsay Orr, Ryan O’Leary CFP Edward Jones, Virginia Mazza-Loomis, WTBQ Radio, and the Warwick Farmer’s Market.
